Li Auto: NOA function without HD map will be applied in China by end of 2023
Beijing (Gasgoo)- Chinese new energy vehicle startup Li Auto mentioned in a letter to staff members on January 28 that it aims to be a global leader in artificial intelligence by the year 2030.

According to the letter, Li Auto set a target to build a comprehensive structural capability in the AI field (Software 2.0) in 15 years since the company’s establishment. Li Auto believes that technological products in compliance to Software 2.0 will officially be applied in China in 2023. In the smart electric vehicle field, building on the BEV perception and Transformer model, urban NOA functions that realizes end-to-end training without HD map (high-defination map) will be put into use at the end of 2023, said Li Auto.
In December 2022, Li Auto delivered 21,233 vehicles in total, setting the startup’s monthly delivery record to a new high while also becoming the first Chinese new energy vehicle startup to achieve such numbers. Among which, both the L9 and the L8 saw a monthly delivery volume exceeding 10,000 units.
Throughout the past year, Li Auto managed to deliver 133,246 vehicles, bringing its cumulative auto deliveries to 257,334 vehicles.
