BAIC Group, Bosch deepen cooperation in automotive intelligence field

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On the first day of February, BAIC Group and Bosch China inked a strategic cooperation agreement to deepen their collaboration in the intelligent vehicle field.

BAIC Group has a long history of cooperation with Bosch, and the two sides have a deep foundation of cooperation in the fields of engine EFI system, chassis, and intelligent driving.

By signing this strategic cooperation, BAIC Group will propose more solutions in the fields of smart cockpit, intelligent driving, and intelligent network connection jointly with Bosch. At the same time, Bosch will provide the Beijing-based automaker with more intelligent and competitive products based on its own safe and reliable intelligent driving solutions in six aspects, including system, functional safety, data, chip, hardware, and algorithm.

In recent years, BAIC Group has made continuous efforts in the field of automotive intelligence, and has formed comprehensive capabilities in intelligent core technology development, system integration, and resource integration.

The company's proprietary electrical and electronic architecture-related intellectual property rights have been authorized to overseas entities, setting a precedent for the export of core technologies from the Chinese automotive industry to foreign countries. Moreover, BAIC Group’s L4 intelligent driving core algorithm development project has been granted with a T3-level road test license for autonomous driving in Beijing, and has carried out regular testing.
