JAC Group's export volume jumps 10% YoY in Jan. 2023

Beijing (Gasgoo)- In January 2023, JAC Group sold 35,410 vehicles in total, representing a 31.32% drop from a year ago, according to JAC Group’s announcement on Thursday.

Of the vehicles JAC Group sold last month, 11,155 units were shipped to overseas markets, rising 10% year over year. On February 7, the Chinese automaker announced that its pickup truck sales in Peru reached a new high in 2022, ranking highest among Chinese brands. Besides, the automaker recently delivered 165 units of its mainstay T8 pickups to a major construction group in Saudi Arabia, showing JAC Group’s ever-growing competitiveness in the overseas auto markets. 

On the other hand, with 302,039 vehicles sold, JAC Group’s passenger vehicle sector saw an 8.42% slip in January sales over the previous year. Among the passenger vehicles sold in January, 11,412 units were sedans, which indicated an impressive soar of 725.16% year-on-year. 

Notably, JAC Group sold a total of 10,323 all-electric passenger vehicles last month, down 33.55% over the previous year. 

In addition, JAC Group sold a total of 13,301 commercial vehicles last month.
