Changan Shenlan delivers 4,103 SL03s in Feb. 2023

Beijing (Gasgoo)- Shenlan, the new energy vehicle brand under China’s major legacy automaker Changan Automobile, announced today it delivered 4,103 units of its only production model on the market, the SL03, in February 2023.

In comparison, monthly deliveries of the SL03 amounted to 6,137 units in January this year. By the end of last month, Shenlan has cumulatively delivered 37,328 vehicles so far. 

As the first new energy vehicle model under the newly founded brand, the SL03, officially went on sale on July 25, 2022. Later, on September 9, the first batch of the SL03s was officially delivered to customers. On October 17, Shenlan celebrated the 10,000th SL03 rolling off the production lines at Changan Automobile’s factory in Liangjiang New Area, Chongqing city.

According to the young brand, it plans to introduce to the public its second production model, the S7, soon. The S7 will be an SUV model, which bears the significance of further enriching Shelan’s product lineup, as the SL03 is a sedan. 

Information of the S7 SUV was already disclosed in a catalogue issued by China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. Riding on the EPA1 platform, which is the same platform the SL03 was built on, the S7 will come with a range-extended version and a battery-electric version.
