Lynk & Co pours in 200 million yuan to launch LYNK OS N smart cockpit system

Beijing (Gasgoo)- Lynk & Co, an auto brand formed as a joint venture between Geely Auto Group and Volvo Cars, unveiled the LYNK OS N smart cockpit on March 19. The new operating system will be made available via OTA updates on the Lynk & Co 09 model by the end of March.

The LYNK OS N promises to be a groundbreaking development in terms of user experience, ease of use, and performance. According to Lynk & Co, LYNK OS N has been in development for over six years with more than $200 million yuan poured in its development and production. 

Designed with a user-friendly interface at its core, LYNK OS N uses smartphone/tablet-like interaction logic, enabling a seamless transition for users. The system is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip, which boosts its performance by 25% and enhances app startup speed by 18%. Additionally, LYNK OS N offers three unique features, "Super Customization," "AI Intelligent Speech," and "Premium Scenario Bundle".

The "Super Customization" feature allows users to easily customize their desktop cards, shortcut applications, air conditioning shortcuts, and control widgets with zero learning costs. Meanwhile, "AI Intelligent Speech" function offers natural language processing, with quick, comprehensive, intelligent, and warm response characteristics. With the help of the Snapdragon 8155 chip, the system can process eight voice commands in just 10 seconds, and accurately recognizes each user's individual commands seating down. Lastly, the "Premium Scenario Bundle" refers to the pre-installed bundles of onboard applications and scenario-enabled modes such as “nap time”, “cinema”, “light camping”, etc.
