Xiaomi invests in Shanghai Ingin Automotive Technology

Beijing (Gasgoo)- Shanghai Ingin Automotive Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Ingin"), a Chinese company in the intelligent access and entry field for automobiles, announced on May 24 the completion of a multi-million-yuan C+ round of financing. 

The funding round was led by Beijing Xiaomi Intelligent Manufacturing Fund ("Xiaomi Fund") with participation from Sunic Capital and other institutions.

Ingin will use the proceeds from this round of financing to focus on product development and global business expansion in the field of intelligent access and entry for automobiles, as well as the construction of its technology and market teams.

Founded in 2017, Ingin operates factories in Shanghai and Ningbo. It is an automotive parts company driven by high-tech and new technologies. Its main products include intelligent electric doors, electronic door locks and software algorithms, as well as environmental detection and sensing sensors.
