Changan Automobile nominates AICC as supplier for intelligent driving products

Beijing (Gasgoo)- In a recent development, AICC (Automotive Intelligence and Control of China) has officially been selected by Chinese automaker Changan Automobile as a supplier of the latter's mass production projects.

The collaboration includes two agreements focused on integrating AICC's intelligent driving operating system, ICVOS, and its core products, including functional software and graphical development tools, into a major Changan Automobile model with a production volume exceeding 10,000 units within this year.

Under the agreement, the duo will engage in a deep collaboration around AICC's ICVOS product, leveraging a software-driven architecture platform that offers hardware flexibility, scenario configurability, on-demand ecosystem adaptability, and self-evolution of the system. 

This collaboration aims to complement the capabilities of the underlying software platform, facilitate the realization of software-defined vehicle architecture, accelerate the mass production deployment of various Changan-branded models, as well as enhance the platform stability and reliability. 

Additionally, AICC will provide efficient, cross-domain integrated debugging and a visual development tool that is compatible with existing toolchains, further enhancing software development efficiency and powering Changan Automobile in the development of autonomous driving applications.

Notably, AICC and Changan Automobile had already engaged in extensive cooperation in computing platform and data security before. The signing of the new agreements once again validates the technical capabilities, product performance, and mass production capacity of AICC, as recognized by major domestic automakers such as Changan Automobile.
