It was only two years ago, during the winter season, when Tesla introduced the Cyberquad for Kids on its North American website, retailing at $1,900.
Undoubtedly, the release of the Cyberquad caused a frenzy as it quickly sold out, making it one of the most sought-after and talked-about children's gifts during the 2021 holiday season. At that time, foreign media even conducted reviews of this children's vehicle, while domestic media in China could only observe it from afar through online channels.
Now, Tesla has made an official announcement that the Cyberquad will be available for purchase in China on July 14, with the first deliveries expected to follow shortly after.
Inspired by the Cybertruck, the Cyberquad for Kids features a full steel frame and is equipped with adjustable suspension and LED light bars. Powered by a lithium-ion battery, the 2021 Cyberquad offers a range of up to 15 miles and can reach a top speed of 10 mph. A full charge takes around five hours.
It is worth noting that, due to its weight capacity of up to 55 kg, theoretically, even lightweight adults can enjoy the Cyberquad's thrill and excitement. Tesla's foray into the children's electric vehicle market is set to captivate young adventurers and electric vehicle enthusiasts alike in China.
