Dongfeng Motor strengthens presence in Russian market

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On July 10, the 7th China-Russia Expo kicked off in Yekaterinburg, Russia. Dongfeng Motor's Russian regional marketing center made full use of this platform to showcase a fleet of vehicle models and engage in extensive customer marketing activities, actively advancing localized market expansion.

During the exhibition, Dongfeng Motor's booth displayed a variety of models, including the SHINE MAX sedan and RICH pickup, covering a comprehensive range of signature vehicles. 

Moreover, the Russian regional marketing center of Dongfeng Motor signed strategic cooperation agreements with local partners during the expo. The collaboration aims to strengthen cooperation in various fields, such as localized production, marketing, and after-sales services for the Dongfeng vehicle lineup in Russia.

Since last year, Dongfeng Motor has been proactively developing the Russian market by enhancing organizational structure, product introductions, and transforming marketing strategies. Multiple projects have progressed smoothly in the Russian market. In May 2023, the company established a regional marketing center in Russia, driving the establishment of an integrated "vehicle + supply chain" export model. 

By initiating the operations of the Russian regional marketing center, Dongfeng Motor has embarked on preliminary explorations of the GHQ (Global Headquarters) and RHQ (Regional Headquarters) operational modes within its international layout.

Moreover, a few days ago, the news agency of local company Motorinvest, which locates in Lipetsk Oblast, Russia, informed Sputnik News that the company will commence sales of Dongfeng vehicles before the end of July. The Dongfeng Aeolus Yixuan MAX sedan, the Dongfeng 580 SUV, and the Dongfeng S15 pickup will be the first to debut in various distribution centers.
