Leapmotor unveils first global product ‘C10’ SUV at IAA MOBILITY 2023

Beijing (Gasgoo)- Chinese new energy vehicle startup, Leapmotor, achieved a significant milestone at the IAA MOBILITY 2023 with the global debut of its first-ever international product, the Leapmotor C10.

Riding on the company's latest LEAP 3.0 architecture, this mid-size SUV will offer range-extended and all-electric powertrains and include both five-seater and six-seater variants, said Leapmotor. 

The C10, positioned as a mid-size SUV, features a design language aligned with Leapmotor's family aesthetics but with a bolder and more robust overall appearance. The vehicle's body incorporates sleek, straight lines, complemented by a closed front grille and integrated LED headlights, maintaining the brand's minimalist style.

The side profile adopts a clean and linear design, enhanced by concealed door handles. Atop the roof, a LiDAR system is poised to provide advanced intelligent driver assistance functions, underlining Leapmotor's commitment to cutting-edge technology in its vehicles.

Leapmotor has ambitious plans, with the launch of five global models over the next two years, catering to left-hand and right-hand drive markets in Europe, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, and the Americas.

Leapmotor further revealed its strategic expansion plans, not limited to vehicle manufacturing but also encompassing four distinct technology sharing modes. These cooperation modes involve electronic and electrical architecture and corresponding controllers (including lighting, cameras, and radar), batteries, electric drive systems, as well as comprehensive vehicle-level collaborations, signaling Leapmotor's multifaceted approach to the global automotive market.
