AVATR 12 makes global debut at IAA MOBILITY 2023

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On September 5, AVATR, the premium new energy vehicle brand jointly developed by Changan Automobile, Huawei, and CATL, officially unveiled its the luxurious AVATR 12 sedan at the IAA MOBILITY 2023.

As AVATR's first sedan and second flagship model, the AVATR 12 introduces a new era of large electric luxury sedans with its futuristic design, opulent interior, and cutting-edge technology.

The AVATR 12, designed by the AVATR Global Design Center in Munich, adheres to the principle of "Future Elegance" in its overall design philosophy.

With a length of 5,020mm and a wheelbase of 3,020mm, the AVATR 12 offers an ample interior space. Its proportions, with a width of 1,999mm and a height of 1,450mm, combined with dynamic lines, create a captivating appearance reminiscent of a suspended sports coupe.

The vehicle features an innovative headlight design, including signature E-shaped LED headlights and an exclusive HALO screen. It also introduces a groundbreaking rear design with no rear side windows, significantly expanding the trunk space.

Inside, the AVATR 12 boasts a futuristic integrated dashboard design that extends gracefully into wing-like features on the sides of the doors. The cabin follows the "Gentle Tech" minimalist design concept, reducing physical buttons to only essential functions. It also introduces dual zero-gravity seats in the front row, allowing one-touch reclining.

The AVATR 12 is equipped with Huawei’s HarmonyOS 4.0 system, enhancing convenience and intelligent services for seamless human-vehicle interactions. Additionally, it features the Huawei ADS 2.0 intelligent driving system, reducing reliance on high-precision maps and providing a highly intelligent driving experience across various scenarios, including highways, urban streets, and parking.

The AVATR 12 is set to begin deliveries in the Chinese market in the fourth quarter of this year. The brand is also accelerating its product development pace, with plans to launch two new models next year.
