SERES Group sells 17,952 vehicles in September 2023
Beijing (Gasgoo)- In September 2023, SERES Group, Huawei's automaking partner, faced a double-digit year-on-year decline in monthly auto sales, according to the company’s announcement on October 8.

In the past month, SERES Group sold a total of 17,952 vehicles, representing a 37,93% plunge year-on-year. In the first nine months of this year, the automaker’s cumulative sales volume amounted to 136,786 vehicles, dropping 30.65% from a year ago.
Among the vehicles sold in last month, 10,246 units were new energy vehicles (NEVs), which decreased 41.77% compared to the year-ago period and accounted for 57.07% of the group’s September sales.
Specifically, of the NEVs sold in the past month, 7,125 units were from SERES Auto, which owns both the SERES and AITO brands, down 29.75% year over year. In the Jan.-Sept. period of this year, SERES Auto managed to sell 40,389 vehicles in total, indicating a 18.53% dip from the earlier year.
In addition, the AITO brand announced on Sunday that the refreshed AITO M7 SUV model, which kicked off pre-orders on September 12, has attracted fixed orders for over 50,000 units by October 8, further boosting the brand’s sales performance for the following months.
