Fixed orders for new AITO M7 surpass 60,000 units in first month on market

Beijing (Gasgoo)- The new AITO M7, the latest offering from AITO, the premium new energy vehicle brand developed jointly by SERES and Huawei, boasted remarkable success in its first month on the market, with over 60,000 confirmed orders, said the company on October 15.

With a substantial 500 million yuan invested in its development, the new M7 is designed to meet the diverse needs of families with its spacious five-seat interior. It places a strong emphasis on safety, introducing the world's first all-directional collision avoidance system, ensuring a "comprehensive safety" mobile cabin. Equipped with the HUAWEI ADS 2.0 advanced intelligent driving system and the HarmonyOS smart cockpit 3.0 system, it promises a smarter and more enjoyable travel experience.

AITO aims to continually enhance its brand strength, prioritizing swift deliveries while ensuring product quality. This commitment is poised to bring safer, more comfortable, and smarter travel experiences to its customers. Intelligent manufacturing and smart empowerment are key components of AITO's strategy, guaranteeing efficient deliveries of the new M7.

SERES Group currenly holds vehicle and component production facilities in various locations, including Chongqing city's Liangjiang, Shapingba, Jiangjin, Changshou, and Hubei Shiyan. Notably, the one that is responsible for the production of the new AITO M7, the SERES Smart Factory, adheres to industry 4.0 standards and industrial internet requirements. With a focus on digitization, it incorporates leading-edge technologies in intelligent manufacturing, digitization, the Internet of Things, and advanced manufacturing operation and process management systems. Key processes are automated, fulfilling the promise of flexibility, transparency, automation, interconnectivity, and intelligence in car production.

With the orders piling up, SERES has poured an additional 1 billion yuan and allocated another 20,000 staff members to ensure a stable production capacity growth for the AITO M7 at the Smart Factory, said SERES.
