Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Recently, questions were raised by the media on Weibo account to Mr. Mu Feng, President of Great Wall Motor ("GWM"), concerning whether the European Union's anti-subsidy investigation into imports of Chinese battery electric vehicles (BEV) might slow down the progress of Chinese automakers entering the European market. In response, Mu Feng stated that GWM had proactively tackled the EU's anti-subsidy investigation, being the first Chinese automaker to submit relevant information as corresponding response on October 11.

Mr. Mu affirmed that although the journey of Chinese automotive brands entering global markets may face challenges, they remain steadfast and are accelerating their global expansion pace.

Mr. Mu Feng underscored the necessity of a fair and open trade environment, “With the systematic competitive strength, GWM is confident in establishing a competitive edge in global markets”. He reiterated the company's steadfast commitment to global development, a long-term vision, and eco-friendly global expansion.

Moreover, Mu Feng revealed that GWM is making rapid strides in choosing a location for its factory in Europe. He stressed that Europe has always been a key strategic market for GWM' overseas expansion. The plan includes boosting local cooperation in innovative new energy vehicle-related technologies, forming a complete business chain encompassing research, production, supply, and distribution. This strategic approach seeks to expedite GWM's global expansion, with the site selection process for the European factory already underway.
