Changan Auto’s Deepal delivers 15,513 vehicles in October 2023

Beijing (Gasgoo)- Changan Automobile's new energy vehicle range, Deepal, disclosed its October delivery figures on November 1, reporting 15,513 vehicles delivered last month. This brings Deepal's cumulative deliveries for the year to 102,408 units.

Furthermore, Deepal officially announced the imminent market debut of two new models, the Deepal S7i and the SL03i, which are positioned as the intelligent driving version of the existing S7 and SL03 models, both featuring advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).

Both new smart models will be equipped with highway navigation autopilot function, suitable for highways and urban expressways covered by high-precision maps. These systems, under effective driver monitoring, enable navigation-assisted driving, including intelligent lane changes, merging onto the main road, entering and exiting highway ramps, and intelligent speed control, all following the designated route.

Moreover, the new models introduce enhanced features such as Intelligent Recommendation Lane Change (IRLC), Automatic Lane Change (ALC), FIDA smart assistance on ramps, and lane-level navigation with environment perception. In areas lacking high-precision map coverage, the advanced ADAS-equipped models are capable of lane-centered driving and speed control via the Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control (IACC) system.

Additionally, these two new models offer upgraded parking systems, with the Automatic Valet Parking (AVP) system memorizing the user's driving process and creating a memory map. When the vehicle arrives in the memorized map area, users can activate the valet parking assistance function, allowing the vehicle to be parked in the designated underground parking spot without user intervention. This system also supports multi-level parking structures and obstacle avoidance.
