JAC Group boasts 31.23% YoY hike in October sales

Beijing (Gasgoo)- In October 2023, Chinese automaker JAC Group saw its monthly sales volume jump 31.23% year over year to 53,153 vehicles. This achievement signifies the company’s nine consecutive months of year-on-year sales growth.

JAC Group’s cumulative sales for the first ten months of 2023 reached 494,369 vehicles, growing 19.93% from the same span last year.

With 32,143 vehicles sold last month, the automaker’s passenger vehicle (PV) sector boasted a 26.6% year-on-year increase. Among the PVs sold in October, 19,475 units were battery-electric vehicles (BEVs), which indicated a 14.22% year-on-year rise and accounted for 60.59% of JAC Group’s monthly PV sales. 

In the Jan.-Oct. period, JAC Group sold 300,701 PVs cumulatively, up 24.62% year on year. During the period, BEVs made up for 50.22% of the total PV sales of the company, which stood at 151,014 units. 

In the overseas market, JAC Group continued its high-growth momentum with 11,958 vehicles exported in October, representing an 18.74% hike year-on-year. For the period from January to October, the automaker’s cumulative exports reached 138,815 vehicles, shooting up 54.38% from a year ago.
