Tesla issues price rise for Model 3/Y Long Range versions in China

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On November 9, Tesla posted on its official Weibo account that effective immediately, the prices of the Model 3 and Model Y Long Range editions have been officially raised in China.

Specifically, the price of the Model 3 Long Range edition has been increased by 1,500 yuan to 297,400 yuan. Meanwhile, the price of the Model Y Long Range edition has been increased by 2,500 yuan to 302,400 yuan. 

Tesla said that the entire Model Y series completed upgrade on October 1. The interior added a new multi-color ambient lighting, and the dashboard trim and front door trim panel are lined with new technology fabric material, and the vehicle is updated with a 19-inch Gemini-styled wheel design.

Tesla also emphasized that the pricing system has always been fair and transparent, and the Model Y, after the price increase, is still the best product in the domestic market at the same price point.

It is worth noting that before this, Tesla has just completed the price adjustment of the Model Y Performance version in China. On October 27, Tesla announced a 14,000-yuan rise in price for the China-made Model Y Performance version, which resulted in an adjusted price of 363,900 yuan.
