JAC Group, Cummins’ joint venture celebrates 5th anniversary

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On November 29, the grand celebration of the 5th anniversary of Anhui Cummins, the joint venture between JAC Group and Cummins, was successfully held at the Anhui Cummins Intelligent Manufacturing Base.

As a pioneer in diverse power solutions, Cummins boasts over a century of expertise in internal combustion engine technology, leading the way in the evolution and advancement of low and zero-carbon power technologies. The collaboration between JAC Group and Cummins has spanned over two decades, with a significant milestone in 2018—the joint venture formation of Anhui Cummins, leveraging mutual strengths to accelerate developments in traditional energy power.

Actively aligning with national dual-carbon strategies, Anhui Cummins is expediting the deployment of new energy power solutions, focusing on diverse low and zero-carbon innovations. The imminent mass production of the P2 hybrid route, designed to meet heavy-duty demands, signifies a tailored solution for commercial vehicle applications.

Notably, the Anhui Cummins smart factory also celebrated a milestone with its 300,000th engine unit rolling off the production line. 

Looking ahead, JAC Group is committed to deepening strategic collaboration with Cummins, seizing new opportunities in the automotive industry's transformative development, especially in heavy-duty diesel engines, hydrogen fuel, and hydrogen engines, aiming for more extensive and profound cooperation.
