BAIC BJEV posts 58.46% YoY surge in November sales

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On December 4, BAIC BluePark released the production and sales report for its new energy vehicle subsidiary BAIC BJEV in November 2023, which showcased substantial year-on-year growth in sales.

The report highlighted that in November, BAIC BJEV's car production reached 5,325 units, surging by 72.6% year on year. From January to November, cumulative production of the company stood at 21,713 units, marking a 21.29% increase from a year ago. 

Additionally, BAIC BJEV’s November sales tallied 9,590 units, reflecting a 58.46% surge from the earlier year. The automaker’s year-to-date sales reached 71,357 units, shooting up 76.99% year over year.

Emphasizing collaboration, BAIC BluePark noted that some models in the sales figures were jointly developed by BAIC BJEV and BAIC Motor Corporation Limited (BAIC Motor), produced by the latter, and sold externally by BAIC BJEV.

The rising sales signify a positive trend for BAIC BJEV. ARCFOX, the high-end electric brand under the company, delivered around 15,000 vehicles in the first three quarters of this year. 

Moreover, BAIC BluePark's collaboration with Huawei in car manufacturing has seen new advancements. Reports indicate that their Huawei Smart Selection car project is underway, with the inaugural pure electric sedan model expected to hit the market in 2024.
