Chery starts pre-sale of iCAR 03 electric SUV

Beijing (Gasgoo)- Chery New Energy officially commenced pre-sales of the iCAR 03 electric SUV today, offering six trim levels ranging from 129,800 yuan to 185,800 yuan. The iCAR 03 sports a distinctively stylish and robust "boxy" design, delivering an impressive visual appeal.

Embracing a hardcore design language, the iCAR 03 showcases angular features rarely incorporating rounded lines. With dimensions measuring 4,406mm in length, 1,910mm in width, 1,715mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2,715mm, the vehicle boasts a rare full-aluminum multi-cavity cage-type body technology within its segment. Additionally, the rear door utilizes a side-opening design coupled with integrated electric suction.

Stepping into the cabin, the iCAR 03 exudes a similarly bold design theme, enhanced by diverse color schemes and materials, setting a distinct ambiance apart from conventional family-use vehicles. The centerpiece, a floating-style 15.6-inch central control screen, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 automotive-grade chip, supports online navigation, entertainment, smartphone connectivity, remote control, app downloads, OTA updates, and voice commands.

Promoting comfort and practicality, the vehicle features 50W wireless charging, ventilated and massage-enabled driver seats, and power-adjustable footrests for the passenger seat. Safety-wise, it's equipped with an L2+ intelligent driving assistance system, encompassing adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, lane-changing assist, and automated parking.

For power options, both single and dual-electric motor versions are available. The single-motor variant reaches a maximum power of 135 kW, while the dual-motor version combines a front 70kW with a rear 135kW electric motor, providing range options of 401km, 472km, and 501km.
