Shanghai’s Jiading district starts construction of ‘Silicon Industry Headquarters’ project

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Shanghai's Jiading district has already broke ground on the Silicon Industry Headquarters project, according to a post on the WeChat account "Shanghai Jiading".

This project is constructed and operated by Shanghai Xin Zhi Yuan Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. ("Xin Zhi Yuan" is Chinese Pinyin). It aims to build an integrated circuit high-tech headquarters platform, integrating silicon industry global headquarters, R&D, incubation, and industrial ecosystem.

The chosen location for the project is the commercial land parcel 15-01 near North Jiading Station of Metro Line 11, bordered by Taiye Street to the east, Huangqing Road to the north, Heshuo Road to the west, and Nangang (Pingcheng Road) to the south. With a land area of 11,000 square meters, the project will construct an intelligent 5A-grade headquarters building with a total floor area exceeding 54,000 square meters, expected to be completed by March 2026.

Upon the completion, the project aims to establish a high-tech headquarters platform in Jiading, focusing on critical aspects of the integrated circuit industry such as key raw materials, components (including smart sensors, AI+IoT, etc.), key equipment, and component R&D. Additionally, it will create an integrated circuit industry ecological innovation cluster, emphasizing industry key links and forming a comprehensive innovation system encompassing production, investment, research, and application. This initiative is expected to boost the industrialization of technological achievements.
