Chery Holding’s monthly sales jump 45.3% YoY in March 2024
Beijing (Gasgoo)- Chery Holding sold 181,585 vehicles in March 2024, marking a 45.3% year-on-year surge, according to the company’s announcement on April 2.

In the first quarter of this year, Chery Holding saw its cumulative sales figure stand at 529,604 vehicles, reflecting a robust 60.3% spike from a year ago. Among which, 60,133 units were new energy vehicles, soaring 124.3% from a year earlier. Additionally, the group exported 253,418 vehicles in the first three months of 2024, representing a 40.9% increase year over year.
Specifically, Chery brand achieved monthly sales of 116,927 vehicles in March, up 40.7% year-on-year and resulting in a total of 350,314 vehicles sold in the first quarter (+57.6% YoY).
Meanwhile, EXEED brand sold 6,653 vehicles in March, indicating a 3% year-on-year rise. The brand saw its first-quarter sales jump 44.4% from a year ago to 23,493 vehicles.
JETOUR brand witnessed a significant surge in sales, with 35,503 vehicles sold in March, marking an 82% soar compared to that of the previous year. In the first three months of this year, JETOUR sold a total of 107,476 vehicles, reflecting a 106.9% leap year-on-year.
Additionally, the inaugural pure electric model under the iCAR brand, the iCAR 03, achieved impressive sales of 5,487 units in March, just one month after its market launch.
