CATL's Germany-based factory granted VW Group's module, cell certifications

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On April 9th, CATL's factory in Thuringia, Germany received dual certification from Volkswagen Group's module testing laboratory and cell testing laboratory, becoming the world's first battery manufacturer to receive Volkswagen Groups's battery module certificate, and also the first to obtain the group's cell certification in Europe (with the first one granted Volkswagen's cell certificate being CATL's headquarters).
