Chery Holding's monthly sales hit new high in September 2024
Beijing (Gasgoo)- Chinese automaker Chery Holding reported monthly sales figures of 244,534 vehicles in September, marking a 28.6% year-on-year jump.

In the past month, Chery Holding exported 109,048 vehicles, representing a 20.6% increase from a year ago. Meanwhile, the group’s new energy vehicle (NEV) sales reached 58,941 units, indicating a staggering 183.4% year-over-year soar. Notably, Chery broke three records in September: surpassing 240,000-unit monthly sales, 100,000-unit monthly exports, and 50,000-unit monthly NEV sales—the highest in the company’s 27-year history.
For the first three quarters of 2024, Chery Holding sold 1,752,793 vehicles in total, which leapt 39.9% year over year, while already reaching 93% of its full-year sales volume for 2023.
Chery Holding's NEV sales for the first nine months totaled 331,788 units, shooting up 186.4% from the previous year, while oil-fueled vehicle sales reached 1,421,005 units, up 24.9% year over year. Exports grew by 24.5% from the year-ago period to 829,353 units, and domestic sales surged 57.2% to 923,440 units.
Among Chery Holding’s key brands, the Chery brand sold 151,051 vehicles in September. EXEED brand sold 15,717 vehicles in September. The JETOUR brand reported monthly sales of 60,226 vehicles, and the iCAR NEV brand, launched seven months ago, posted 5,180 vehicles sold in September.
