Specifically, the supercharging network includes 650 stations along highways, which provide strong range support for long-distance road trips. Additionally, Li Auto has expanded its urban supercharging network to 550 stations across 77 cities in China, enhancing the convenience of charging for urban NEV users.

Notably, Li Auto introduced a new policy aimed at improving the operation efficiency of its charging stations. The company noted that since the launch of its supercharging network, it has received frequent feedback from vehicle owners regarding charging spots being occupied by vehicles that are fully charged. To enhance the user experience and ensure that all owners have access to charging services, the company announced that, starting in mid-December 2024, an overstay fee would be implemented at all its supercharging stations.

Li Auto said this new policy is designed to optimize the use of its charging facility resources, allowing more users to enjoy convenient and efficient charging services. The fee will be applied to all NEV brands, and detailed guidelines, along with a query path to check for overstay charges, will be outlined in the upcoming pilot operation announcement.
