JAC Group launches T9 pickup in Pakistan

Beijing (Gasgoo)- JAC Group, along with its local partner, officially launched its flagship T9 pickup in Karachi, Pakistan, marking the company’s entry into the local high-end pickup market, according to the company’s announcement on Feb. 14.

The launch of the new JAC T9 pickup aims to meet the growing demand for versatile commercial and family vehicles among Pakistani consumers.  

JAC Group has long been committed to the Pakistani market, consistently analyzing consumer needs to deliver greater value. The T9 pickup is designed to cater to a wide range of local usage scenarios, including agricultural transport and construction operations, while also being suitable for personal and family mobility needs.

The T9 combines practicality with efficiency, offering high performance alongside exceptional fuel economy, which helps reduce operating costs. Furthermore, its design takes into account Pakistan's challenging road conditions, ensuring durability and stability for improved local adaptability.  

Prior to the Pakistani launch, JAC Group released the right-hand drive T9 diesel model in the Australian pickup market in March 2024. The automaker announced then that it plans to introduce the all-electric and plug-in hybrid versions of the T9 pickup to Australia as well, expanding its competitive product offerings tailored to regional needs.
