As a personalized, intelligent and safe ADAS, BYD DiPilot pioneers the big-data algorithm of DiTrainer. It can learn the driver's driving habits, judge the driver's type and driving level, and optimize the help of ADAS for driving by means of notification and computer intervention, making the ADAS safer and smarter.

In addition to DiTrainer, another major module of DiPilot is DiDAS, which includes autonomous emergency braking (AEB), forward collision warning system (FCWS), adaptive cruise control system (ACCS), one-lane integrated cruise, traffic jam assistance (TJA), lane departure warning system (LDWS), lane-keeping assistance (LKA), blind spot detection (BSD), automatic parking assist (APA), panoramic image, remote control driving, etc. Among these features, APA will be the first time to be applied to the BYD Han.

BYD’s engineers believed that the ADAS used to be like a standardized system program, which could only execute simple instructions and give feedback. However, DiTrainer can "communicate" with the driver and understand the "intention" of the driver. It can also judge whether the driver needs the intervention of DiDAS through scenario, so as to achieve the most efficient operation of ADAS and active safety system (ASS).

It is reported that the BYD Han will be the first model to use DiPilot ADAS, and also the first to be equipped with "blade battery". The new car will hit the market in June.
