Building on the automaker's W6 model, the Apollo Moon (the previous model is in use by Baidu's Robotaxi fleet) witnessed an upgrade with LiDAR applications. The other model introduced is powered by Baidu's ANP navigation ADAS and AVP automated valet parking solutions, completing the two companies' cooperation throughout the entire Baidu intelligent driving ecosystem.
According to the partners, the W6 Apollo Moon and W6 ANP+AVP model adopted the same ANP-Robotaxi architecture, enabling a reliable data closed loop. Notably, with a unit of customized LiDAR and corresponding self-driving redundancy, the ANP+AVP model can be transformed into the Apollo Moon.

In addition, the WM version of the Apollo Moon achieved several innovations in the crewless operating interaction field, including individual control over the four-door locks, monitoring of rear-row passenger status, voice control, app-controlled air-conditioner, windows, and smart car doors.
WM Motor took responsibility for the pre-installation work alone. The company said the new vehicle has a 5-year operating cycle and can be put into scalable operations.
