According to Richard Yu, the CEO of HUAWEI’s Intelligent Automotive Solution BU, SERES will be releasing a new SUV model equipped with the HarmonyOS intelligent cockpit at the end of the year or at the beginning next year. The ICT giant hopes the HarmonyOS will provide the best intelligent cockpit user experience across the world.
The CEO added that, as of now, over 150 million users had upgraded their operating system to the HarmonyOS 2, making it the fastest-growing smart terminal OS in history. After four rounds of sanctions, HUAWEI strives to break out of the encirclement and build a sustainable ecosystem with partners and developers.

Earlier this month, local media outlets reported that HUAWEI had co-developed a second vehicle with SERES.
Unlike the former SF5 model, the new model will be powered by a complete set of HUAWEI intelligent vehicle solutions. Moreover, HUAWEI will singlehandedly manage the vehicle's preliminary scheme, design, marketing, and sales.
