Horizon Robotics partners with auto intelligence company Untouch Tech

Beijing (Gasgoo)- China’s edge-AI chip developer, Horizon Robotics, has formed a strategic partnership with auto intelligence company Untouch Tech for intelligent automotive core technologies development on November 8th.

The partnership will revolve around software-defined automobile development and further cooperate in the advanced autonomous driving and onboard intelligent interactions fields. The two companies aim to help OEMs provide safer and more convenient driving experiences.

Untouch Tech possesses ample commercialization experiences in the perceptual algorithm aspect as well as the intelligent driving field. Building on Horizon Robotics’ high-performance auto-grade chips and its open development tools, Untouch Tech will be able to construct a deep learning-based end-to-end autonomous driving solution and help achieve mass-production of advanced autonomous driving solutions. Meanwhile, the two parties will co-develop onboard intelligent interactive solutions to realize a smarter human-machine interaction experience.

As one of the leading automotive artificial intelligence companies, Untouch Tech’s strength lies in visual perceptual algorithms. The company also develops autonomous driving software architectures, basic software, and middleware, providing safe and reliable solutions to the industry.

Currently, Untouch Tech has received procurement orders for over 30 vehicle models from 12 automakers.
