NavInfo-backed Sixents teams up with autonomous sanitation developer Autowise.ai

Beijing (Gasgoo)- NavInfo-incubated high-precision locating service provider Sixents has partnered with autonomous sanitation vehicle developer Autowise.ai to advance the intellectualization of the sanitation industry.

The two companies will co-develop a high-precision driverless sanitation service to the centimeter degree.

Autonomous and intelligent street cleaning vehicles can run all day with high efficiency and lower cost while minimizing safety hazards. The vehicles can work as substitutes for city workers to perform high-strength tasks under contaminated and risky conditions.

The vehicles will also ease the labor shortage and high administrative cost problems among the city sanitation industry.

The partners believe that the high-precision locating technology could provide accurate positioning and directions guide to intelligent street cleaning vehicles. Moreover, with a bit of help from other sensor technologies, the combined technologies will be able to provide safe driving tactics for street cleaning vehicles, making real-time object avoidance and detailed cleaning possible.

Currently, Autowise.ai’s vehicles were deployed in sixteen Chinese cities, as well as overseas, in Switzerland, Germany, and the U.S.

In addition, Autowise.ai also offers customizable solutions detailed in working scenarios and cleaning requirements. The company’s autonomous technology can be used on various compatible vehicle models with personalized cleaning solutions under different scenarios, including structured roads, closed/semi-closed campuses.
