SoC supplier Black Sesame teams up with RTOS developer RT-Thread
Beijing (Gasgoo)- China’s SoC supplier Black Sesame has formed a strategic partnership with real-time operating system developer (RTOS) RT-Thread, to construct a basic integrated computing platform for the automotive intelligence industry.

Building on Black Sesame’s auto-grade high-performance autonomous driving chips and RT-Thread’s RTOS technologies, the partners aim to co-develop a hardware/software combined solution for autonomous driving, providing an open and customizable platform for automakers, Tier1 suppliers, and autonomous driving demonstration zones.

As a leader in China’s IoT operating system field, RT-Thread has an active ecosystem and community, with billions of terminal installation volume and nearly 150,000 embedded software developers. The reliable, scalable, and comprehensive RT-Thread RTOS was widely applied to the industrial engineering, aerospace, consumer electronics, and automotive industries.
The company’s RTOS, microkernel OS, and virtualization products have landed multiple commercial orders from various automakers for RT-Thread.
