China’s machine vison developer Entron Technology closes A-round financing
Beijing (Gasgoo)- China’s imaging and sensing product supplier Entron Technology announced that it had completed its A round of financing with over RMB100 million ($15.7 million) raised.

The investment was led by Yingke PE and Innovator Capital. Entron said the funds would help the company reinforce its existing product lines in the vision sensing field, expand its technical support and business layout in the Western market, and enhance its production system and capability.
Entron was established in 2015 and headquartered in Shanghai. The company is devoted to developing and manufacturing assistant safety and autonomous driving machine vision sensing products.
The company holds a top-notch R&D team with talents from machine vision, optical imaging, function algorithm, and deep learning fields. The founder and CEO of the company, Li Jiutao, graduated from Tsinghua University with an electronic engineering degree. Li holds over 110 international patents and nearly 20 years of expertise in the field. Li was also once an employee of Micron, Aptina, and ON Semiconductor.
As of now, Entron has supplied for multiple automakers, integrators, autonomous driving platforms, crewless logistics, and vehicle electronics companies on the “Global Fortune 500” list.
Notably, after three years of efforts, Entron has won over NVIDIA with its fully compatible computing platform-based products and became NVIDIA’s designated imaging/sensing product supplier.
Bosch and Continental AG are also partners with the company.
