On the same day, HUAWEI made its “abnormal driving behavior identification method” patent public.
According to the patent’s summary, it is involved in the autonomous driving territory, disclosing an identification method, system, and vehicle for unusual driving behaviors.
The method defines itself as “gaining vehicle driving behavior data, judging if the vehicle is under questionable driving status based on the former collected data. If the vehicle is judged to be under suspected abnormal driving status, then the system will collect data from the current driving scenario. After collecting driving behavior and driving scenario data, the system will then decide whether the vehicle is under the abnormal driving status”.
