Desay SV forms strategic partnership with intelligent driving developer MAXIEYE

Beijing (Gasgoo)- Today, China’s major auto parts supplier Desay SV announced its strategic partnership with intelligent driving service developer MAXIEYE for full-stack autonomous driving development.

The two companies will strive to develop advanced autonomous driving technology with high computing power. They will also focus on forming comprehensive R&D and operation service capabilities for a full-stack L1 to L4 autonomous driving solution.

During the signing ceremony, the partners introduced their “Jiukui Project,” which serves the progression of the autonomous driving commercialization.

Per the partnership, the companies will create synergetic innovations with their technologies and commercialization model, deploy their core autonomous driving technologies on commercial vehicles, and explore the intelligent heavy-duty truck operation model under trunkline logistic scenarios.

The project signifies the companies shared vision of achieving safe, efficient, and carbon-neutral transportation, building an open platform for scenario TaaS business model. The companies intend to gradually realize technology development and operations of L4 autonomous heavy-duty trucks, staring on the major transportation trunklines within the country.

Notably, weeks earlier in November, MAXIEYE has bagged RMB300 million ($47.05 million) in its Series B financing round, led by Desay SV. This time, the strategic partnership is a way to cement their long-term relationship.
