The innovation center takes up 2,000 square meters of land, consisting of nine display zones, exhibiting HUAWEI’s products, capabilities, and co-developed achievements. The center is home to nine laboratories dedicated to MDC, integrated sensing, voice, visual, acoustics, cockpit ecosystem innovation, onboard network, and vehicle control innovation.
The labs offer development tools, testing tools, experiment equipment, and over 100 engineers to strongly support the innovative projects conducted by HUAWEI’s partners.
Moreover, HUAWEI has built a test field for intelligent connected vehicles, in the nearby Yangcheng peninsula. The test field takes up 600 acres of land, serving three purposes including systematic test lab, intelligent driving test zone, and dynamic performance test zone.
HUAWEI said the test field is constructed referencing 3,000 typical traffic accident cases, with 14 system labs, 13 test fields, 103 static roadside elements, and a dynamic control plaza over 300 meters of diameter, holding over 200 testing staff onsite.
