Building on each’s technical strength and mass-production experience, the partners will carry out co-development in various segments, including ADAS, autonomous driving, robots, and intelligent traffic infrastructure.
On top of that, Horizon Robotics will provide RoboSense with intelligent vehicle solutions based on “chip+ algorithm+ AI development tool”, satisfying the latter’s diverse demands for intelligent connected vehicles.
Moreover, based on RoboSense’s second-generation solid-state LiDAR, the RS-LiDAR-M1, and Horizon Robotics’ Journey 3 and Journey 5 automotive chips, the two parties will co-develop and adapt mass-producible ADAS integrated perception solution. The partners aim to build integrated perception solutions under more applicable scenarios, furthering China’s intelligent connected transportation development.
Notably, RoboSense is currently the only company globally that has realized mass-production delivery of intelligent solid-state LiDARs used on new vehicles.

The company’s RS-LiDAR-M1 solid-state LiDAR (M1) wins automakers over with its teensy size and excellence in point cloud quality. The M1 also features a unique “gaze” function that can adjust the scanning method when switching near/far-field perceptions.
GAC AION, WM Motor, Geely’s ZEEKR, Lotus, Inceptio Technology, and Zhito Technology are clients of the company.
