NVIDIA partners with China’s OS developer ArcherMind for automotive vision development

Beijing (Gasgoo)- China’s intelligent terminal OS developer, ArcherMind, announced today that it had signed a cooperation agreement with NVIDIA for intelligent driving ISP (image signal processor) services.

Per the agreement, ArcherMind was authorized to be one of NVIDIA’s ecosystem partners, providing intelligent driving companies with mass-producible ISP service based on NVIDIA DRIVE Orin and Xavier chips.

ArcherMind has profound experiences in the visual software and ISP technology fields. The cooperation with NVIDIA will benefit both companies by exploring new development patterns in the intelligent driving visual perception field. The partners will, in turn, provide improved technologies for the growing automotive vision clientele.

In other words, ArcherMind will act as a bridge providing automotive image and vision solutions for clients in the industry based on NVIDIA’s computing platform. Meanwhile, the partners will establish a professional automotive visual lab, analyzing automotive camera performances under various traffic scenarios, weathers, and complexity. The lab will cover the full life-cycle visual perception system, offering corresponding services and technical support to auto manufacturers and Tier1 suppliers.

In fact, automakers like BMW, Toyota, Volkswagen AG, Ford Motor, NIO, XPeng, and BYD are all ArcherMind’s clients in the automotive intelligence department. Tier1 suppliers such as Visteon, Bosch, Magneti Marelli, and Desay SV are customers to ArcherMind, too.
