China’s ADAS developer MAXIEYE to provide service for Dongfeng Trucks

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On March 2nd, China’s ADAS developer, MAXIEYE, announced that it had closed a deal with Dongfeng Trucks to provide intelligent solutions and services for the automaker.

The deal specifies that MAXIEYE will provide Dongfeng Trucks with intelligent heavy-duty truck technical solutions featuring the ANP ADAS system. According to MAXIEYE, the company has produced hundreds of thousands of ADAS products, widely applied to the commercial vehicle market. This procurement order will help accelerate the company’s mass production process in the advanced autonomous heavy-duty truck solutions field.

In fact, MAXIEYE has been actively laying out in the commercial vehicle market for a while. On December 9th, 2021, the company struck a deal with China’s leading auto parts supplier, Desay SV, to develop full-stack L1 to L4 autonomous driving solutions with massive computing power and explore operational possibilities.

The partners launched a “Jiukui Project” to deploy autonomous driving technologies into commercial vehicles under trunkline logistics scenarios.

On November 18th, 2021, MAXIEYE has landed RMB300 million in its Series B financing round led by Desay SV. The investments signify the recognition for its works in the industry.
