AICC debuted its iVBB1.0 intelligent vehicle computing foundation platform at the beginning of 2021. With its signature features like cross-platform, cross-model, unified OS, and customization, the iVBB1.0 is able to help automakers realize software definition under L2-L4 autonomous driving scenarios.

Months later, in November 2021, AICC launched an updated and production-ready iVBB2.0. The iVBB2.0 product family consists of four units, namely the intelligent vehicle operation system (ICVOS), intelligent vehicle domain controller (ICVHW), vehicle to cloud foundation software (ICVEC), and information/data security (ICVSEC).

Notably, AICC’s iVBB2.0-based sensing and computing isolation solution successfully passed tests and verification last week. This is the first solution in the industry to pick up roadside data sources, run perception algorithms on edge cloud, and conduct car-road-cloud synergized computing. The solution features L4 autonomous driving, and can save computing power onboard and on roads.

Founded in 2020, the two-year-old company has received multiple investments from major companies. During the years, AICC was granted nearly 50 patent licenses and gained the recognition of 6 automakers with mass production cooperation.
