Horizon Robotics partners with JueFX for integrated autonomous driving solution

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On May 11th, China’s AI chip supplier Horizon Robotics announced its partnership with local autonomous driving startup JueFX, introducing the “chip + solution” integration to the market.

The partnership specifies that the two companies will profoundly explore the application of all-scenario intelligent driving technologies, through leveraging Horizon Robotics’ Journey series automotive chips, and JueFX’s integrated multi-sensor algorithms. 

The duo will form a fusion consisting of both auto-grade chips and intelligent driving solutions in an effort to advance China’s autonomous driving application. 

Currently, the two parties have successfully adapted and deployed JueFX’s location algorithm onto Horizon Robotics’ Journey 3 chip, which has passed precision validation under various scenarios. The partners plan to further carry out their cooperation with Horizon Robotics’ Journey 5 chips, researching production-ready intelligent driving solutions on a higher level. 

Notably, JueFX will thus become the first software developer to implement its integrated location algorithm onto the Journey 5 chips. 

JueFX is a leading service provider focusing on intelligent driving and C-V2X cloud solutions. Its autonomous driving solutions have attracted several big-name entities, including HUAWEI, China Mobile, and Yutong Bus. 

Meanwhile, JueFX is also a member of ARM AI Ecosystem Consortium, Microsoft Accelerator, and NVIDIA Inception Program.
