The cooperation specifies that the two parties will wield each’s advantages in their corresponding professional fields and resources to work on future urban air mobility practices. The duo will put joint efforts into the sales, marketing, regulation compliance, business expansion, infrastructure construction, and talent cultivation of AAVs, introducing safe, autonomous, and sustainable aerial transportation technology and solutions to Thailand and branching out overseas.
The partnership creates a slew of application scenarios for EHang’s AAV products, such as aerial tours, freight transport, “last-mile” delivery, urban aerial taxis, and intelligent city management.
Founded in 2014, EHang is a Nasdaq-listed high-tech company focusing on developing AAVs. In the past years, the company has achieved periodical results for the mass production and commercialization of its AAVs worldwide. The company has teamed up with various entities across the world, including FACC, DHL, Vodafone, United Therapeutics, and the Spanish National Police.
The company has launched pilot operation with the city of Guangzhou in December 2021, with multiple planned and tested flying routes for manned transportation, aerial tour, and aerial logistics.
