JoysonAI introduces JUN Sim Cloud simulation platform

Beijing (Gasgoo)- Joyson Electronics’ intelligent auto research arm, JoysonAI, launched new smart simulation platform, JUN Sim Cloud for intelligent driving-related simulation needs. 

JUN Sim Cloud holds a rich scenario library, physical level sensor simulation, high-precision dynamics simulation, and comprehensive exam and assessment systems. The platform can fully simulate the driving environment in the physical world, reconstructing corner cases from the real world.

The vehicle in the platform is configurable based on the different needs, including kinematic parameters, kinetic parameters, and sensor configurations. Meanwhile, the external settings are also customizable, such as the road situations, traffic conditions, weather, or light environments.

JUN Sim Cloud can help test personnel reduce the cost and risk of autonomous driving validation and road tests, while improving the safety and robustness of autonomous driving system. The platform uses the universal OpenX standard with multiple algorithms inserted. It is able to secure users’ algorithms and data library and accelerate users’ technology iteration speed.  

The platform is deployed in Ningxia region, in northwest China. With Amazon Web Service’s Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (Amazon EKS), Amazon Elastic File System (Amazon EFS), and Amazon ElastiCache, JoysonAI is able to construct a safe, reliable, flexible, stable, and expandable cloud-based simulation system to take on users’ massive data storage and algorithm training challenges.
