BMW to buy NavInfo’s TSP, ConnectedDrive Store service for five years

Beijing (Gasgoo)- China’s navigation giant NavInfo announced on June 30th that it had inked a framework agreement with BMW China and BMW Brilliance (collectively referred as BMW) regarding the transaction of Telematics Service Provider (TSP) and ConnectedDrive Store services.

The agreement specifies that NavInfo will provide TSP platform to BMW’s vehicles sold between September, 2023 and August, 2028. The contract includes all BMW-affiliated brands, such as BMW, MINI, and Rolls-Royce. In the meantime, NavInfo will also be in charge of constructing BMW’s ConnectedDrive Store and offer relevant maintenance service. 

The specific sales volume and value of NavInfo’s service will be determined by BMW’s actual auto sales volume and the service sales volume of the ConnectedDrive Store. The contract will end on August 31st, 2028. 

NavInfo said that the deal with BMW signifies its achievement in the industry and represents BMW’s recognition of its ability to serve the global high-end auto market. The China-based company is optimistic that the cooperation with BMW will bring more opportunities to its way, and increase NavInfo’s market share and product application, eventually help boost the company’s revenue.
