With the network support provided by China Mobile, the license was issued to DFLM’s Chenglong H5 intelligent connected electric logistic vehicle.
The Chenglong H5’s remote driving system consists of three parts, namely data interaction and control, network transmission and control, and platform. The system takes full advantages of the low latency, broad bandwidth, and high reliability of China Mobile’s 5G network. Leveraging 5G communications, V2X, and automated control technologies, the system can remotely monitor and control the vehicles via an intelligent driving platform.
Under complex road situations, human drivers are able to actively intervene and make decisions for the driverless vehicles via the platform.
In an effort to help smooth things out for the autonomous driving test, China Mobile’s Liuzhou branch established a dedicated line and DNN for DFLM, and built five 5G base stations on the automaker’s campus.
In addition, China Mobile Guangxi Provincial branch will make advancements in its cooperation with DFLM, accelerating the intelligent transportation development.
