MAXIEYE to provide all-new MAXIPILOT®1.0 PLUS solution to HYCAN

Beijing (Gasgoo)-  China’s intelligent driving developer MAXIEYE announced on July 28 it had been nominated as a qualified supplier to HYCAN's new vehicle model volume production project and will provide the EV startup its proprietary MAXIPILOT®1.0&PLUS solution.

The solution is officially introduced on July 27th by MAXIEYE. Building on a highly cost-effective computing platform, the solution offers a variety of scheme options for different vehicle models. The OTA update-enabled MAXIPILOT®1.0&PLUS solution supports L2+ all-speed intelligent cruise function as well as the L2++ NOM (Navigate on MAXIPILOT) function. 

According to MAXIEYE, the mass production of the solution can be expected within 2022. 

The 1.0PLUS is an updated version of the company’s MAXIPILOT®1.0 full-speed intelligent cruise system. Inheriting the previous version’s maximum performance, the 1.0PLUS consists of a 5R1V (5 millimeter-wave radars and 1 camera) sensor scheme and a cost-effective computing platform. The sensors and the computing platform are integrated in MAXIEYE’s IFVS-600 front-view machine, realizing perception fusion, path planning, and decision control capabilities.

MAXIEYE commented that the company designed the 1.0 PLUS solution with the aim of making technology affordable for everyone. With its reasonable price, the MAXIPILOT®1.0 PLUS solution can help more users in need of advanced intelligent driving functions.
