Horizon Robotics joins hands with MAXIEYE for mass-produced intelligent driving solution
Beijing (Gasgoo)- Chinese AI chip developer Horizon Robotics announced its partnership with intelligent driving solution provider MAXIEYE in high-level intelligent driving industrialization.

Leveraging each’s resources and advantages, the duo will build products with pilot assistance and driving/parking integration functions based on MAXIEYE’s MAXIPILOT® high-level platform solution and Horizon Robotics’ Journey 5 chips. The jointly developed product will be completed and ready for mass production in 2023.
By combining the openness, high performance, and comprehensive tool chain of Horizon Robotics’ Journey 5 chips with MAXIEYE’s leading autonomous driving software algorithm, strong AI+ car engineering application ability, and rich production experience, the two companies will accelerate the mass production of L2++ intelligent driving solutions.
In the field of advanced intelligent driving, the MAXIPILOT® advanced platform equipped with the Journey 5 chips will be armed with MAXIEYE's self-developed MAXI-NET deep learning network and BEV sensing fusion architecture, with technical features such as high accuracy, high reliability, property of time series forecasting, low takeover rate, and high comfort.
Up to now, Horizon Robotics has won several mass production cooperation projects for the Journey 5 automotive chips from BYD, FAW Hongqi, Ziyoujia, SAIC Motor, and other carmakers.
