DRIVE Thor, which achieves up to 2,000TOPS of performance, unifies intelligent functions — including automated and assisted driving, parking, driver and occupant monitoring, digital instrument cluster, in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) and rear-seat entertainment — into a single architecture for greater efficiency and lower overall system cost. It holds two times higher the computing power than NVIDIA’s Altan and eight times higher than that of the DRIVE Orin.
Like the current NVIDIA DRIVE Orin, DRIVE Thor uses the productivity of the NVIDIA DRIVE software development suite, and is designed to comply with ASIL D functional safety. Building on an extensible architecture, DRIVE Thor allows developers to seamlessly port their previous software development to the latest platform.
ZEEKR announced that it will integrate DRIVE Thor on its centralized vehicle computer for its next-generation intelligent electric vehicles which are expected for production in early 2025.
ZEEKR’s CEO, An Conghui, said that “ZEEKR users demand a luxury experience that includes the latest technology and safety features. NVIDIA DRIVE Thor will support our mission of providing cutting-edge technology that fulfills the needs of our customers and ensures ZEEKR standing at the forefront of tomorrow’s innovations.”
