ARCFOX delivers 200 Apollo Moon driverless vehicles to Baidu Apollo
Beijing (Gasgoo)- BAIC Group’s premium electric vehicle brand ARCFOX delivered 200 fifth-generation ride-sharing driverless Apollo Moon vehicles to China’s autonomous driving player, Baidu Apollo.

In June 2021, Baidu partnered with ARCFOX to jointly release Apollo Moon. The vehicles have been approved for fully autonomous unmanned commercial operation in Chongqing and Wuhan in August 2022.
The autonomous vehicle model is built on top of ARCFOX’s αT, offering fully redundant sensors and computing units. It features comprehensive failure detection and downgrading mechanism, 5G Remote Driving solution, and V2X functions.
The ARCFOX Apollo Moon is Baidu Apollo's first fifth-generation ride-sharing driverless model to be launched, mass produced, and put into operation. By virtue of ARCOFX’s chassis control ability and highly intelligent IMC platform architecture, the model holds a highly intelligent electronic and electrical architecture, upgradable cloud services, as well as high-performance and safe battery, electric motor, and electrical control capabilities. The IMC platform is compatible with multi-vehicle planning and product definitions, and can be installed with various key technologies and key systems.
