Joyson Electronics-affiliated JOYNEXT partners with Huawei for smart cockpit solution

Beijing (Gasgoo)- JOYNEXT, the automotive connectivity arm of Joyson Electronics, inked a comprehensive memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Huawei Device Co., Ltd. (Huawei), in the field of smart cockpit.

In fact, the two companies have crossed paths before. In 2021, JOYNEXT and Huawei’s Intelligent Automotive Solution Business Unit signed an agreement, focusing on in-depth cooperation in the field of smart cockpit, to jointly create a new-generation intelligent cabin solutions. Currently, the production vehicle model installed with the duo’s cooperative cabin product is already under development.

The fresh MoU with Huawei signifies the partners’ broadened cooperation scope, in a bid to jointly promote the development and upgrading of automotive cockpit intelligence, and build a shared ecosystem. 

JOYNEXT has been a dedicated player in the automotive field for more than two decades, holding rich technical accumulation in the intelligent cockpit and intelligent connectivity segments. Huawei, with over thirty years of experience in the ICT and digital energy aspects, has created HarmonyOS, HiCar ecosystem, and other products.

Per the newly deepened cooperation, the two sides will give full play to their experience and advantages, strengthen all-round exchanges in the automotive cockpit filed, and jointly build an integrated product solution based on Huawei’s HiCar platform.
